This is currently an early beta version of itsgud. Please excuse the mess.

at a glance

Here at ItsGUD, we want people to know the most they can about environmentally and socially responsible initiatives that will eventually affect the way everyone lives. It can be hard to keep track of which companies are working to reduce their impact on rain forests, which universities are conducting ground-breaking solar panel research, or which non-profits are working to put it all together. We bring the societal and environmental advancements of organizations to the forefront--together in one place. With rich media content and compelling information, we hope to make the world a better and more informed place.

what we believe

We focus simply on what’s good, or as we like to say, GUD. Anything that organizations are doing that’s good for us and good for the environment should be noticed and encouraged, and that’s what we’re here for. Everyone can tell if something is good, and that’s the best mentality to have. Our theory: If it’s GUD, then it’s good. We encourage these advancements by simply showing that they are happening, and showing how it’s going to be GUD. We’d like to show what people are doing, even the smallest of advancements. No one can argue something that’s good, and everyone can certainly tell the difference between something that’s good and something that isn’t. We’ve made it really simple; if something is being done that’s good for us and for our planet, then we want everyone to have the opportunity to see it, learn about it, and encourage it. There’s no competition here, no animosity, just people and organizations doing more good than ever before. You’ll get to see what they’re getting accomplished, and even help them get it done.

See what's GUD, see what matters

we're just like you

We just want to see the world get better. That's a pretty simple request, but it has more implications than ever before. New advancements are being made daily; the best part about this is that people are interacting in an entirely new way. We love seeing people work toward a more environmentally and socially friendly future. It's more important than ever that people are made aware of the advancements being made, no matter how small.

Right now, you're looking at a website and an idea created by two students that are looking for the good in things. It may sound corny, but we really are the future. We just hope that we can get everyone to be aware of that fact. We need to encourage people to be good -- to do GUD.
